Hartford County resident Kevin Desimone Jr., of New Britain, won $825,000 on Monday, Feb. 27, on the new game Lucky Lott in which players can win up to $1 million, said Connecticut Lottery officials.

Desimone purchased his ticket at the Stop & Shop in Bristol, officials said.
